BARD/HRS Mosaic

In 2010 the cardiological company BARD commissioned me to build a giant heart for their exhibit booth at the Heart Rhythym Society tradeshow in Denver, Colorado. Evidently they were pleased enough with my work to ask me to do something for them in 2011 as well.

Of course, they approached me with even less lead-time... about three weeks. There was no way a sculpture was going to get built in that time. But a mosaic was possible. While this project for the HRS tradeshow in San Francisco was not as remarkable as the four foot tall heart from the previous year, it has always been a dream of mine to build a LEGO mosaic that included the words "STEERABLE DIAGNOSTIC CATHETER."

They also had the giant heart sculpture from the previous year. It was brought out of storage and included in the exhibit booth for 2011 as well.
